We Install Pool Cleaning Systems in Arizona
Pool cleaning used to be an arduous and time-consuming task. Young children were sometimes frightened of the creeping pool cleaner and its corresponding tangle of hoses, But times have changed. Using water from the main pump, built-in heads create a powerful pool cleaning system that cleans the bottom, steps, and built-in pool benches, and the water jets the debris toward the drain.
Cleaning heads correspond to the size and shape of the individual pool, creating an uncluttered, undetectable custom cleaning system.

In-Floor Pool Cleaning Systems
For some customers, an in-floor cleaning system is the best option. The system consists of several small cleaners that pop out of the bottom of your pool and create jets of water to direct any debris on the bottom toward your vacuum drain. Each cleaning head creates a single directed stream that moves debris to the next head, like a giant water broom sweeping the bottom of your pool.
When not usedthey're, the cleaning heads retract and remain flush with your pool's bottom. They’re not intrusive in the least, and the typical pool can be cleaned by anywhere from five to fifteen cleaning heads. The heads can also rotate to target different sections of the pool.
Advantages of In-Floor Pool Cleaning Systems
Besides keeping the bottom of your pool clean without disturbing pool use, in-floor cleaning systems also help maintain proper circulation throughout the pool. Good circulation is essential to prevent the growth of algae.
Unlike other options, such as robot-cleaners, in-floor cleaners eliminate the need for hoses. Having hoses cluttering your pool deck detracts from its visual appeal and may pose a hazard. In-floor cleaners may also help reduce your maintenance costs. They're more energy-efficient than many other cleaning options and help evenly distribute the water, a particular benefit if you have a heated pool.
Disadvantages of In-Floor Pool Cleaning Systems
As good as they are, in-floor cleaning systems have a few disadvantages. The system relies on all the cleaning heads to function correctly as they “pass” debris from one to another. If one stops working, it can affect the functioning of the others. And you may not notice this until debris starts accumulating since it’s automatic and produces no noticeable changes in the pool’s surface when it works. Moreover, poor water pressure can significantly impair its performance.
Automatic Pool Cleaners
There are three basic types of automatic pool cleaners:
Suction-side automatic cleaners work with your pool’s vacuum pump's help to extend the vacuum to every part of the pool. They’re designed to move in a specified pattern throughout the pool and are an affordable option for most pools.
Pressure-side automatic cleaners instead work by harnessing the power of your pool’s water return line. The water pressure powers the cleaner, which moves around the surface and pushes debris into an attached bag.
Robotic cleaners are independent of the pool’s filtration system, and an electricity source outside the pool powers them. They have a motor to suck debris into a filter bag and a motor to power them.
Advantages of Automatic Cleaners
Automatic pool cleaners are an excellent choice for pool owners who don’t have the time to clean their pools manually. They’re relatively easy to install and operate and, depending on the type, can fit into any budget. With so many options available, every pool owner can find one to suit their needs efficiently.
Disadvantages of Automatic Cleaners
One of the primary drawbacks of automatic pool cleaners, in general, and vacuum-side cleaners, in particular, is that they don’t clean floating debris thoroughly. They’re designed to clean from the bottom of the pool, leaving floating debris untouched.
Pressure-side and robotic cleaners have the drawback of a built-in filter bag. These bags are quite small, and they need to be emptied frequently to keep the cleaners working. Robotic cleaners also require an external power source, which means additional equipment for your pool.
